What AI tools do banks use?
Banks buy AI in 8 broad categories: fraud detection, AML compliance, credit decisioning, conversational AI, document AI, enterprise AI assistants, model-risk and AI-governance tooling, and the AI built into their core and digital-banking platforms. Each category page here is a buyer's guide with a comparison table, and each vendor page states what the vendor sells, how it is priced (a published list price where one exists, otherwise “not published”), who owns it, and which of the 100 largest US banks are publicly named as customers, taken from our bank pages and sourced. No vendor pays to be listed.

From the 100 bank pages on this site, the published vendor pages name these bank customers: Microsoft Copilot (13 banks: BofA, Wells Fargo, BNY, BMO, First Citizens, M&T, Northern Trust, UBS, SouthState, United Community, Bank of Hawaii, TowneBank and First Merchants); ChatGPT Enterprise (7 banks: JPMorgan, Goldman, Morgan Stanley, BNY, SouthState, First Interstate and Customers Bank); Claude (7 banks: JPMorgan, BofA, Citi, Goldman, Morgan Stanley, Flagstar and BankUnited); GitHub Copilot (5 banks: Goldman, TD, Citizens, Northern Trust and Regions); Gemini Enterprise (5 banks: Citi, Wells Fargo, Goldman, BNY and Zions); Personetics (5 banks: U.S. Bank, Truist, Huntington, KeyBank and Central Bank); Socure (4 banks: Citi, Capital One, SoFi and Atlantic Union); Snapdocs (4 banks: BNY, Zions, Trustmark and FirstBank); NICE Actimize (4 banks: Fifth Third, KeyBank, Valley and Associated); BioCatch (3 banks: BofA, Citi and Wells Fargo); Blend (3 banks: Huntington, BMO and Frost); Glia (3 banks: Columbia, Busey Bank and Banner Bank); Talkdesk (3 banks: BankUnited, WaFd Bank and TowneBank); Alloy (3 banks: Ally, Banc of California and Eastern Bank); Amazon Bedrock (3 banks: BankUnited, FNBO and First Interstate); Fiserv (3 banks: SouthState, Bank OZK and First Interstate); nCino (3 banks: M&T, First Horizon and WaFd Bank); FICO (2 banks: TD and Santander); Pindrop (2 banks: M&T and FNBO); Feedzai (2 banks: Citi and SoFi); Zest AI (2 banks: Zions and First Hawaiian); Abrigo (1 bank: Old National); Backbase (1 bank: JPMorgan); Kasisto (1 bank: JPMorgan); Provenir (1 bank: SoFi); Quantexa (1 bank: BNY); Unit21 (1 bank: Sallie Mae); Vanilla (1 bank: BOK Financial); Covecta (1 bank: ServisFirst Bank); Featurespace (1 bank: U.S. Bank); Ocrolus (1 bank: SoFi). A bank is counted only where the vendor page cites a source naming it, from the bank, the vendor or the press. More vendors are being added category by category.
Is vendor pricing on these pages accurate?
A price is shown only when the vendor publishes it on its own pricing page, documentation or its own cloud-marketplace listing, with the date it was checked, or when a filing, procurement record or allowed press source reports a contract value. Each published price names the product it covers; the category comparison tables show a price only when it is for the AI product the category is about, not for an adjacent product such as a credit score or a notary plan. Most bank-software vendors sell through enterprise contracts and publish nothing; the pages say 'Not published' rather than estimate.
How are vendors chosen and are they paid placements?
No vendor pays to be listed and there are no affiliate links. Categories are fixed (8 of them) and each covers the vendors banks most often name in filings, releases and the trade press. 8 categories are live so far; a vendor page is published only once every dated claim on it is sourced.
How do the vendor pages relate to the bank pages?
The bank pages record what each of the 100 largest US banks has said and done with AI, including the vendors it works with. The vendor pages turn that around: for each vendor, which of those banks use it, for what, and at what stage (selected, pilot, rolling out, in production), with the source for each.
