How are these rankings built, and how do they differ from the AI index?

Every ranking is recomputed from the bank pages whenever one is updated. Each page states its scoring rule, counts only entries that carry a source on the bank's page, and shows “not disclosed” where a bank has said nothing rather than estimating. The AI index is the broad measure (eight components of AI disclosure, US banks only); these pages are narrower cuts of the same records, several of them extended to the 20 non-US groups. The technology leaders and generative AI guides are hand-written cross-bank tables that the technology and customer-genAI rankings draw on.
