Terms of use

Last updated Oct 9, 2026

BankingNewsAI is an information service: a daily brief, reference pages built from public sources, and Ask BankingNewsAI, which answers questions from those pages. Using the site means accepting these terms.

The pages describe what banks, fintechs, vendors and regulators have said and done, with a link to the primary source for each claim. We try to keep them accurate and dated; we do not guarantee completeness, and a record can lag the source it cites. Tell us about an error at help@bankingnewsai.com.

Nothing on the site is legal, compliance, investment or professional advice. Regulatory pages and answers describe documents; they do not say what your institution must do. This describes the document; it is not legal or compliance advice.

Ask generates answers from our records with a language model and checks every sentence against the record it cites before showing it. It still can be wrong: a record can be out of date, and a verified sentence can be true of the record but not of the world. Check the cited source before you rely on an answer.

Each account receives ten answered questions. Questions the service declines to answer do not count. The service may be limited, paused or withdrawn at any time, and limits may change. Accounts are personal: one account per person, no automated use, no attempts to extract the records in bulk, no attempts to make the service produce text outside its purpose. We may close accounts that break these rules.

What we store and for how long is in the privacy policy. You can delete your account from the Ask page at any time.

Source documents belong to their publishers and are linked, not copied. You may quote and link to our pages with attribution. Automated access for indexing is welcome; copying the site wholesale is not.

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Questions: help@bankingnewsai.com.
