Salesforce says Agentforce Coworker usage grew 21x in three months

Salesforce announced on Nov. 5 in Singapore an expansion of Agentforce Coworker, saying in a press release that usage has grown 21x in three months and that more than 185,000 users are using it.1
Salesforce said in a press release that Coworker takes a job from an employee, plans the steps, coordinates Agentforce agents and workflows, and returns results and recommended actions for review.1 The company said it works from existing Salesforce records, metadata and connected data through Data 360, using applicable employee permissions, sharing rules and configured access controls.1
Salesforce said organisations can manage access to supported agents and actions, with approval and audit capabilities available for supported operations. The release did not say what falls outside supported operations.1
The new Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connections, available now, pair email, calendars and files with Salesforce data, according to the release.1
Scheduled tasks and Daily Digest are expected in December 2026, and a new per-user option costs US$50 per user per month, Salesforce said.1
Coworker in Microsoft Teams, iOS and Mac and Windows apps, and a Coworker MCP server are slated for general availability in November 2026; The Adecco Group is expanding Coworker across 40 countries.1
Because Coworker inherits employee permissions, a bank's existing access design now governs software acting for staff. Approval and audit apply only to supported operations, and email and file connections widen the data in scope, so risk and compliance teams should check both before scheduled tasks run unattended.

Our take. Salesforce's agent costs $50 a seat and inherits each employee's permissions, which at most banks were written for people who log off at six. Write the logging and model-risk rules before business lines buy seats.
