Meta integrates Link wallet for agents with Muse

Stripe announced on September 8, 2026, that Meta integrated Link's wallet for agents with Muse, Meta's personal AI agent. US consumers can connect Link accounts to Muse and authorize the agent to buy from businesses across the internet. At more than 1 million businesses that accept Link, Muse can check out using a consumer's preferred payment method saved in Link; Link has more than 300 million users globally. For other businesses, Link provides Muse a single-use virtual card limited to the approved purchase. Consumers are asked to approve each transaction total in Muse's chat interface, and Muse does not receive underlying payment details. This follows Stripe's recent announcements that Link agent wallet helps power payments for Grok Bot and Instinct.

Visa and Revolut complete passkey-authenticated agentic card payment in France

Visa and Revolut completed the first passkey-authenticated agentic card payment in France in a live checkout at software reseller Cleverbridge. Visa’s test agent, My Agent, made the purchase using a French consumer Revolut card, while Visa Payment Passkey technology authenticated the transaction. The payment used Visa Intelligent Commerce AI payments infrastructure for card security, identity checks and real-time fraud monitoring. The agent requires customer authorization and operates under spending rules set by the user. French regulators awarded British-based Revolut a full European banking licence last month, and the company will open a Western European headquarters in Paris next year.

Goldman Sachs opens Bellevue engineering office for more than 125 employees

Goldman Sachs opened a new engineering office in Bellevue, Washington, on September 8, 2026. OpenAI says its internal system solved the Navier–Stokes Millennium Prize Problem

OpenAI said on September 8, 2026, that an internal system produced a proof that three-dimensional incompressible Navier–Stokes fluid motion can develop a finite-time singularity. The company published a writeup and a Lean formalization, and said the proof establishes statements C and D in the Clay Mathematics Institute’s formulation of the problem. OpenAI said an initially smooth fluid at rest, under a smooth applied force, can form a singularity while its energy remains finite. About 10,000 concurrent agents in one group produced the Navier–Stokes resolution after OpenAI began evaluating open Millennium Prize Problems following September 1 rumors that two such problems had been resolved. The agents used an internal model that OpenAI said was more capable than GPT-6 Astra, with internet-cache access and code-running tools.

Google commits €13 billion to Finland AI infrastructure and clean energy

Google announced on September 9, 2026, that it will invest €13 billion in digital infrastructure, clean-energy projects and economic partnerships across Finland over the next two years. The investment will support demand for Google Search, Maps and Gemini and is Google’s largest single investment in Europe. During initial construction in 2027 and 2028, the projects will support more than 37,000 jobs nationwide and contribute €3.6 billion annually to Finland’s GDP; the facilities will then support thousands of permanent jobs.
