## How does Revolut use AI across its payment ecosystem?

Revolut builds most of its payment AI in-house and uses it on both sides of a payment: as the customer's card issuer and account provider, and as a merchant acquirer. A machine-learning card-scam feature, launched on 15 February 2024, declines likely scam payments mid-transaction; Revolut reported a 30% fall in losses from card scams tied to investment opportunities since testing began.
