## What is USAA's AI strategy, and what have its leaders said about it?

USAA's AI strategy is set at group level and aimed first at member service. Chief data, analytics and AI officer Ramnik Bajaj said in April 2025 that USAA already ran hundreds of AI solutions before generative AI, that a customer-facing chatbot rolled out in June 2024 could tackle 60% to 65% of consumer queries, and that the goal is to 'unplug the keyboard' so AI does the typing while representatives listen to members.
