### U.S. Bank customers sue Pegasystems alleging its Voice AI secretly analysed their customer-service calls

Four U.S. Bank account holders filed a proposed class action against Pegasystems Inc. in the District of Massachusetts on 2 October 2026, alleging that Pega Voice AI, which U.S. Bank uses in its contact centres, routed live customer-service call audio to Pega's cloud, transcribed it and analysed it with natural language processing without callers' consent. The complaint claims violations of California's Invasion of Privacy Act and the Massachusetts and Pennsylvania wiretap statutes and seeks statutory damages. U.S. Bank is not a defendant: the suit is against Pegasystems alone, although it alleges that neither Pega nor U.S. Bank obtained callers' consent. No court has ruled, and no public response from Pegasystems or U.S. Bank was found as of October 2026.
