## What AI research, patents and partnerships does SoFi have?

SoFi's public AI patent record is one family: US 11,928,730 B1, 'Training machine learning models with fairness improvement', granted March 12, 2024 to Social Finance, Inc. dba SoFi for credit and loan decisions, with a continuation published December 5, 2024 that Google Patents lists as abandoned. Most of its AI comes from acquisitions and vendors. It bought Galileo ($1.2 billion, 2020) and Technisys (2022), whose Cyberbank Konecta conversational engine runs SoFi's support chat, and Composer Securities, which became Composer by SoFi in June 2026.
