## How do DBS, OCBC and UOB describe their AI?

The Business Times compared the three Singapore banks after their second-quarter 2026 results and found DBS had gone furthest in framing AI as a revenue generator, using it for idea generation and to prompt customers with relevant opportunities. OCBC's chief executive Tan Teck Long said 'We don't really have an AI strategy per se', placing AI inside the bank's broader digitisation, data and AI strategy. UOB said more than 30,000 employees had Microsoft Copilot, more than 300 use cases were live and staff generated more than 400,000 Copilot prompts a month, but it is not yet putting a dollar figure on the benefits.
