Its record is a policy, not a program. Hope's board adopted an AI acceptable-use policy in 2025 that limits AI use until management and information security have vetted and approved it, and its 2025 10-K says it 'may develop or incorporate AI technology' in the future. None of its four earnings calls from Q3 2025 to Q2 2026 contained an AI remark, and its 2026 10-Qs do not mention AI. Hope does lead the group on its own primary disclosures (23 against a median of 19.5), and in May 2026 it elected Guido Sacchi, a former Global Payments chief information officer, to its board. Its peers have gone further. CVB Financial runs an AI Governance Council that approves AI solutions and uses AI to flag unusual transaction patterns (April 2026).
